It stands out for its great cultural and historical heritage, especially of Romanesque art, its greatest exponent is the Monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll, but there are around a hundred monuments distributed among the different municipalities, being one of the largest concentrations of Romanesque art in Europe.
Ripollès is made up of 19 municipalities, Ripoll being the capital of the region.
Also noteworthy are the towns of Sant Joan de les Abadesses, Camprodon, Ribes de Freser, and small municipalities such as Beget, Setcases, Queralbs, Gombrèn, Campelles, Bruguera…
It is an ideal destination for sports, whether hiking, mountaineering, skiing, cycling, mountain races… and also ideal for the practice of photography.
