Romanesque Art

“El Ripollès” has a large concentration of Romanesque art, there are around a hundred monuments scattered throughout the territory.

 Among them, the Monastery of “Santa Maria de Ripoll” stands out, with its majestic “Portalada” and the imposing basilica, the wonderful cloister and the surprising necropolis.

Also noteworthy are the monastery of “Sant Joan de les Abadesses” and the monastery of “Sant Pere de Camprodon”.
